We are truly proud to announce that the presidents of AQUA METERING and VDDW – the Association of the German Water and Thermal Energy Meter Industry – have signed a specific agreement to cooperate on two crucial issues.
💧On one hand, it pertains to the MIDdirective, set to be revised in 2024, and on the other hand, it involves the EUBlueDeal, an ambitious project addressing water, a vital but increasingly scarce resource, as a cross-cutting theme. It’s essential that the EU Blue Deal aligns seamlessly with the EUGreenDeal and the SDGs.
🤝 Aqua and VDDW agree to work together to streamline efforts for increased effectiveness, reduce double work, and strengthen the positions of both associations towards authorities. We are excited about this cooperation, which promises to make significant contributions to addressing future challenges in the industry.
